Job Overview

The Respiratory Care Team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with chronic respiratory disease, working autonomously and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to promote focused self-management and prevent avoidable hospital attendances.

Main Duties

  • Provide expert supportive care for respiratory patients, including reviewing those with home oxygen therapy.
  • Work autonomously and in collaboration with the local respiratory team to provide a seamless service of care.
  • Act as a community respiratory care resource for patients and other healthcare professionals.
