Cboe is a leading global exchange that offers a range of financial products, including equities, options, futures, and exchange-traded funds. We are currently seeking a Senior Market Supervisor to join our team in the European equity and derivative markets department.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

This role will involve developing a comprehensive understanding of the Cboe Rulebook, Participant Manual, Code of Market Conduct, the Market Abuse Regulations, and various strategies used to commit market abuse. The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience working within the financial industry, with knowledge of surveillance tools and market abuse regulation desirable.

The Senior Market Supervisor will be responsible for carrying out investigations of potential market abuse, making recommendations internally for referral to the appropriate regulatory authority. They will also maintain an awareness of regulatory developments in respect of market abuse and the overall exchange landscape.

Oversight of trade and transaction reporting data is another key responsibility of this role. Additionally, the Senior Market Supervisor will periodically review market surveillance procedures and perform updates in line with business growth and applicable regulatory changes.

The ideal candidate will have technical proficiency in working with large data sets across a variety of data-exploration and data-visualisation software applications. They will also have numeracy skills, with a grasp of statistics that would support data investigation.

A keen interest in financial markets is essential for this role, as well as accountable, organised, methodical, flexible, and able to follow up findings in an efficient and thorough manner.
