Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for HR Shared Services, aligning with the Council's objectives and priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality HR services, including organisation design, development programmes, workforce planning, learning & development, and employment vetting.
  • Drive commercial acumen and financial efficiency, ensuring the sustainability of HR services in the evolving landscape of public sector services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.
