This is a unique opportunity to join Essex County Council and make a significant impact on our HR services. You will work closely with our partners to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their HR requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to deliver high-quality HR services to our partner organizations.
- Work closely with our partners to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their HR requirements.
- Lead a team of HR professionals to deliver HR services, including organization design, development programs, workforce planning, learning & development, and employment vetting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with our partners to ensure excellent service delivery and build our reputation as a provider of choice.
- Ensure financial efficiency and sustainability of our HR services, while delivering superior services to our partners.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive commercial experience developing large-scale HR services.
- Experience working at a senior level in local government or a comparable regulated organization.
- High standards for service delivery and a commitment to excellence.
- Strong business acumen and commercial dynamics.
- Ability to navigate complex HR services and deliver innovative solutions.
