We are looking for a highly motivated and organized IT Help Desk Engineer to join our team at Just IT Recruitment. As an IT Help Desk Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for IT to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be working closely with experienced industry experts to provide expert-level support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware and Software Support
You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining IT hardware, reinstalling operating systems and software, and commissioning new IT equipment. This may involve traveling to client sites to install and configure new equipment.
Problem Solving and TroubleshootingYou will need to have excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues, often under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate empathy and reassure customers that their problems will be solved within agreed contractual SLAs.
Customer Service and CommunicationYou will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and communication skills to ensure their needs are met. Excellent spoken communication skills are essential for this role.
Continuous Learning and DevelopmentYou will have the opportunity to learn and become proficient in various IT systems and technologies, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
What We Offer
