About the Role:

This Support Worker position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in Plymouth.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (based on 35 hours/week)

Responsibilities:
  1. Write Amendments to Statements of Special Educational Needs within statutory deadlines.
  2. Liaise with the Admissions Team to allocate places in accordance with Plymouth Authority's Admission Policy.
  3. Maintain, review, and amend Statements of Special Educational Needs annually.
  4. Undertake casework for new assessments of special educational needs.
  5. Correspond with parents/carers and professionals throughout the assessment process.
What We're Looking For:
  • Two GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
