Compliance and Recruitment Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Recruitment Coordinator to support our team in attracting and selecting top talent into Sonderwell. The role involves managing the selection process to ensure all new joiners are fully compliant and ready to support our service users.
The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment and compliance, with a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines for safer recruitment. They will be responsible for tracking and managing applications, conducting referencing checks, verifying right to work, and following up on gaps in employment history and non-compliant references.
The Compliance and Recruitment Coordinator will also be responsible for obtaining compliant documents to submit enhanced DBS checks on behalf of the candidate, reviewing the outcome of the DBS check, and working closely with the Registered Manager to complete additional forms and risk assessments as needed.
Additionally, the role involves planning and booking all new employees onto necessary training to ensure compliance to work for the business, as well as liaising with existing employees to organize required documents for submission of repeat DBS applications.
