About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Recruitment and Compliance Coordinator, supporting the wider team in attracting and selecting talent into the organization, ensuring that all compliance standards are met due to the regulated nature of the business.

Main Duties
  • Manage the selection process, ensuring all new joiners are fully compliant and ready to join the team to support vulnerable adults.
  • Conduct telephone screenings, interviews, and ensure all compliance requirements are met, such as reference checks, right to work, and DBS checks.
  • Plan and book necessary training for new and existing employees to ensure they remain compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a responsive service and work towards a target of first contact to be made within 24 hours of receiving an application or expression of interest.
  • Telephone screen candidates and progress suitable candidates through the selection stages, including conducting a formal interview, documenting the interview outcomes, and providing candidate feedback.
  • Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track and manage the process of applications and ensure all contact is documented and provide reports as required.
  • Ensure that all CQC and any other regulatory guidelines for safer recruitment are adhered to at all times, including conducting referencing checks, right to work, and following up on gaps in employment history and non-compliant references.
  • Obtain compliant documents to submit enhanced DBS checks on behalf of the candidate.
  • Review the outcome of the DBS check and work closely with the Registered Manager to complete additional forms and risk assessments where needed.
  • Plan and book all new employees onto all necessary training to ensure they are compliant to work for the business.
  • Plan and book all existing employees onto all necessary and recommended training and repeat (renewal) training as required to ensure all employees remain compliant with both minimum and preferred training requirements.
Person Specification
  • The ideal candidate will have some recruitment experience, either in an agency or in-house, and possess strong administrative skills, with a focus on compliance.
