Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at NEXT. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve performance targets.

About the Role:

  • You will support the Store Management Team across all product areas, back of house, and running the store when needed, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage a team to deliver amazing service and accurate stock processes in a commercial, operationally efficient, safe, and target-focused environment.
  • Create an atmosphere where supporting, motivating, and inspiring your team to be at their best is at the core of everything you do.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach for all commercial and operational activities by working alongside the team to drive success.
  • Ensure communication is up-to-date and accurate at all times to meet business needs.

  • You must be passionate about our customers, people, and products, with a contagious energetic approach that inspires and motivates others.
  • Have exceptional commercial understanding, with the ability to create a fantastic shopping experience for our customers.
  • A team player who works effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment, able to adapt quickly to change and bring the team along with new objectives.
  • A great communicator who can work naturally with people at all levels, remaining calm and approachable under pressure.
  • Able to demonstrate problem-solving skills, make sound business decisions, confidently challenge processes, and generate innovative ideas to take the business forward.
  • Confident when dealing with people issues.
  • An effective multitasker who can plan, organize, and prioritize workload efficiently.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment. This role is not one we would typically consider for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route due to relevant Home Office requirements on skills level.
