Key Responsibilities
  • Manage costings for development activities, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
  • Liaise with Development, Commercial and Operations teams to capture relevant information and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate costing master data in finance systems.

Accountabilities
  • Prepare accurate and effective management accounts, identifying exceptions and providing feedback.
  • Support business managers to understand management account information and utilise it to improve performance.
  • Generate ad-hoc information to support analysis of business performance or understanding of standard costs.

Location
The role is based at Bakkavor Salads Bo'ness site, which employs over 1,000 people. The site produces food-to-go salads and salad accompaniments to several customers.

About the Role
In this busy and exciting role, you will provide management account support to the operations and development team, and a proactive and effective business partnering relationship with the site teams. Ideal candidates will have previous experience of a similar role within a fast-paced food manufacturing or FMCG environment. You will be qualified or working towards relevant qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. Excellent communication, analytical, customer service and excel skills are key. The salary range for this role is £42,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience.
