Bereavement Services Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic individual to join our Bereavement Services Team as a Bereavement Services Coordinator. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Bereavement Services, providing exceptional customer service to bereaved relatives, and working closely with our Medical Examiners team.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Bereavement Services team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide administrative support, including updating our PTL database and arranging funeral contracts.
- Work closely with our Bereavement team to deliver a high-quality customer service, providing emotional support and guidance to bereaved relatives.
- Line manage and develop staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to perform their roles effectively.
- Travel across our three sites to cover staff leave and provide operational support as needed.
