Welfare Services Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Academic and Welfare Adviser to join our team at QA Limited in Manchester. As an Academic and Welfare Adviser, you will play a vital role in supporting students, providing guidance and advice in a hybrid working environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and contribute to the success of our institution.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering student welfare services, including one-to-one appointments, workshops, and events, as well as assisting the safeguarding team with risk assessments and staff training. You will also provide professional services such as counseling and learning support, ensuring students are signposted to external agencies when necessary.

Requirements:
- Able to provide guidance and support to academic and professional services colleagues on student issues.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing inclusive policy and practice.
- Experience in working in Higher Education (desirable).
- Up-to-date knowledge of inclusion, disability, and diversity legislation and frameworks (desirable).
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
