We are currently seeking a Welfare and Development Advisor to join our team at The Manchester College's Shena Simon Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering welfare and personal development services to individuals and groups of clients. This will involve working closely with colleagues across the college to ensure that our students receive the best possible support.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the financial wellbeing and information of clients
  • Promoting the college bursary and other relevant initiatives
  • Assisting with enrolment, progression, job clubs, and clients' goals, work readiness, and positive destinations within TMC

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Numeracy and Literacy skills to level 2 or equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of occupational, student finance, and welfare matters
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-college teams and establish positive relationships

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
