About the Role

The Manchester College is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. As a Student Welfare Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting student well-being and addressing any concerns that may arise.

Your primary focus will be on supporting students who are struggling academically or personally, developing strategies to improve their engagement and motivation. You will work closely with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to ensure that students receive the best possible support.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You will also have experience working with learners in an educational setting and a Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent.

A salary of £28,500 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience, is available, along with a range of benefits, including 35 days paid annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, free breakfast, pension contribution, retail discounts, employee assistance program, cycle to work scheme, and Simply Health scheme care vouchers.
