Obesity and Bariatric Surgery Dietitian

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Obesity and Bariatric Surgery Dietitian to join our team at King's College Hospital. The post is a fixed-term position to cover a career break and offers a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will work closely with other dietitians and healthcare professionals to deliver dietetic care to patients on the bariatric surgery pathway. This includes assessing patient understanding of treatment proposals, gaining valid informed consent, and working within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dietetic care to patients on the bariatric surgery pathway.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of structured education programs.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- BSc/Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
- HCPC registration
Estimated salary: £54,320 - £60,981 per annum.
