We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Bariatric Dietitian to lead our team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented dietitian to take on a leadership role within our multidisciplinary bariatric surgery team.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating the dietetic team, providing an efficient and high-quality service to obese patients considering and undergoing bariatric surgery at Homerton Hospital.
Main Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate individual patient care by providing a link between healthcare and social care professionals
- Support the development of operational policies and guidelines in the area of obesity and bariatric surgery
- Represent the bariatric dietitians at operational level and lead on dietetic service development aligned with strategic priorities
- Manage a highly specialised clinical caseload including looking after inpatients and complex outpatients requiring assessment, diagnosis, management, and treatment within this speciality

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Dietetics or equivalent
- Demonstrable knowledge equivalent to Master's Degree Level
- Advanced study in relevant field, for example Behaviour Change Training
- Extensive postgraduate clinical dietetic experience, with experience in the field of bariatric surgery and obesity management
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £43,800 - £51,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a comprehensive pension scheme, and 27 days annual leave.
