About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Obesity Specialist Dietitian to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in obesity management, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients undergoing bariatric surgery and obesity pharmacotherapy.

Main Responsibilities

  • To develop, apply, and disseminate expertise in obesity management and bariatric surgery care
  • To assess patient understanding of treatment proposals and obtain valid informed consent
  • To manage clinical risk within your patient caseload
  • To work within trust clinical guidelines and maintain accurate patient records
  • To represent the dietetic service at multidisciplinary team meetings and integrate dietetic therapy into treatment programs
  • To provide nutrition counseling and prescribe nutritional supplements as needed

About You

  • BSc/Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience in dietetics within the NHS, including clinical audit, multidisciplinary team working, and formal teaching/lecturing

Salary
