We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Clinical Dietitian to join our team of obesity specialist dietitians at the Denmark Hill site.

The appointee will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary bariatric surgery and obesity team to deliver high-quality dietetic care for patients on the bariatric surgery pathway, including pre- and post-surgery care. This will involve assessing patient understanding, gaining informed consent, and managing clinical risk within their caseload. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient treatment records in line with British Dietetic Association and Health and Care Professions Council standards.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time, fixed-term position to cover a career break.
  • The salary for this role is £38,680 - £44,688 per annum, depending on experience.

As a Clinical Dietitian at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the development and delivery of structured education programmes and participating in departmental developments and continuing professional development meetings. You will also be expected to undertake an evidence-based project to develop improvements to service delivery and clinical practice.

To be considered for this role, you must have a BSc or Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, HCPC registration, and significant previous experience in obesity management in dietetics. You should also have knowledge of dietetics within the NHS, experience of undertaking clinical audit, and experience of multidisciplinary team working. Formal teaching/lecturing experience is desirable.
