Job Title: Trade Floor Support Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

Location: On-site, 5 days a week (shifts falling between 7 am - 10 pm)

On-call: 1 in every 7 weeks

Job Summary:

Lorien is seeking an experienced Trade Floor Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our Market Data applications, including Bloomberg and Reuters, in a Trading Floor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and deliver a highly organized support service
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for Market Data applications
  • Communicate effectively with business users, senior members of staff, and IT Managers
  • Advocate for the Trading Support function and promote best practices
  • Support Windows 10 desktops, laptops, and VDI environments
  • Experience in supporting Office 365

Requirements:

  • Previous Trade Floor Support experience
  • Windows 10 desktop support knowledge
  • Knowledge of Desktop/Laptop hardware and VDI environment
  • Experience supporting Market Data applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters in a Trading Floor environment
  • Experience in supporting Office 365
