Job Summary:

Harrington Starr is seeking a highly skilled Trade Floor Support Specialist to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our front office operations, you will provide critical support to our traders, ensuring seamless execution of trades and maintaining the integrity of our trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support to front office traders, resolving technical issues related to trading platforms, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the trading team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring optimal trading performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of trading systems, including Bloomberg, Reuters, TradeWeb, and Market Axess.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft desktop solutions, ensuring seamless integration with trading platforms.
  • Work closely with the IT team to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies, ensuring minimal disruption to trading operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a trade floor support role, with a strong background in trading platforms and systems.
  • Proven experience in fixing core system infrastructure related to trading platforms and systems.
  • Excellent Microsoft support skills, with experience in desktop solutions.
  • Strong technical skills in Cisco and Citrix software and applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and support.
