Job Summary

The Workplace Consultancy is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in the commodities sector. As a Trading Floor IT Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our global trading floor infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for all infrastructure assets, including servers, workstations, and network devices
  • Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure the smooth operation of our trading floor systems
  • Collaborate with IT business leaders and info sec team to provide robust solutions and ensure compliance with company policies and standards
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, and backups
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and trends in the commodities sector

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 10 and Server 2016
  • Experience with PC builds, network configuration, and Active Directory management
  • Understanding of Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Basic understanding of Azure, Cisco Umbrella, and Mimecast
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Entra suite, patching protocols, and WSUS rollout
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, Trayport, TT Trader, and RightAngle trading systems
  • Understanding of Eset encryption, Eset AV, and SentinelOne EDR solutions
  • Experience with Vmware and Hyper-V infrastructure products
  • Knowledge of Citrix VDI installations and management
  • Information security monitoring and response experience
