Job Overview

Harrington Starr is seeking a highly skilled Trade Floor Support Specialist to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading platforms and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support to front office traders, resolving technical issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to trading platforms, Bloomberg, Reuters, and third-party systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including traders, sales teams, and other support groups.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve support services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a trade floor support role, with a strong background in financial markets and trading platforms.
  • Proven technical skills in Microsoft desktop support, Cisco, and Citrix software and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
