About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals.
  • Lead the medication round and ensure accurate administration.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety legislation.
  • Provide evidence of any untaken training and complete all training as determined by the home.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of leading a team and a committed and organized approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights.
