About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the care team.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of residents, adhering to our safeguarding and whistle-blowing policies.
Requirements
  • Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and promoting the well-being of residents.
