Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care to our service users within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to the clinical care requirements of our service users
  • Assist service users in enjoying activities they love, including extending care outside of the home
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users and their families
  • Contribute to the development of individual care plans and participate in regular reviews

Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of working with complex conditions, including Spinal Injury Care, Acquired Brain Injury Care, Tracheostomy Care, Enteral Feeding, Suctioning, Ventilation Management, Bowel Management, Catheter Care, and Epilepsy/Seizure Management
  • Driver with access to a vehicle
