Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Laburnum House, a modern care home in Shaw. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and serving
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs
  • Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience in a care environment, preferably in a similar settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexibly, including evenings and weekendsCommitment to delivering high-quality care and support
