Are you a compassionate and experienced nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity in palliative care?
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is currently looking for a dynamic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their hospital palliative care team at the Royal Free Hospital site.
This exciting opportunity offers invaluable experience for those looking to develop their career either in palliative care or enhance their skills in caring for patients with advanced progressive illness in various settings.
To be successful in this role, you should possess broad and extensive experience working with acutely unwell patients and terminally ill adults post-registration, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, and multidisciplinary working experience.
A first degree and post-registration qualifications in oncology, palliative care, or other relevant medical specialties are essential. You should also be able to articulate your understanding of specialist palliative care, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate evidence of developing leadership skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £43,141 - £70,305 per annum (dependent on experience), depending on your qualifications and expertise. This role also comes with a range of benefits, including access to professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
In return, we expect our ideal candidate to have a commitment to palliative and end-of-life care, flexibility in work arrangements, and a willingness to adapt to change for the benefit of patient and family care.
