About the Role

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our hospital palliative care team. We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and enthusiastic nurse with a genuine interest in palliative care, alongside a commitment to continuous learning, teamwork, and mutual support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality palliative care to patients with malignant and non-malignant conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the palliative medicine consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of palliative care principles and practices.
  • Contribute to the development of education and training programs for healthcare professionals.
Essential Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a degree in Palliative Care, Oncology, or a related field.
  • Post-registration qualifications in palliative care or a related field.
  • Experience of caring for patients with advanced progressive illness.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualities
  • Teaching and assessing qualification or extensive teaching experience.
  • Experience of clinical supervision and leadership skills.
About Us

The Royal Free Hospital Palliative Care team provides a seven-day service for patients with malignant and non-malignant conditions. Our team consists of palliative medicine consultants, palliative care clinical nurse specialists, and a team administrator.
