Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our hospital palliative care team at the Royal Free Hospital site. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients with malignant and non-malignant conditions who require specialist palliative care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in palliative care, with experience in working with acutely unwell patients and terminally ill adults. You will be responsible for providing expert care, supporting patients and their families, and contributing to the development of palliative care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients with palliative care needs
  • Support patients and their families through the palliative care journey
  • Contribute to the development of palliative care services and policies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • First degree and post-registration qualifications in oncology, palliative care, or a related field
  • Experience in working with acutely unwell patients and terminally ill adults
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
