Job Summary

St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Palliative Medicine to support the provision of specialist palliative care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in specialist palliative care before applying for higher specialist training.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist palliative care to patients attending St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Support the provision of palliative care services.
  • Develop clinical skills and knowledge in palliative medicine.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration.
  • MB BS or equivalent qualification.
  • MRCP(UK/I), MRCGP or equivalent qualification.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Intercalated BSc or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working in a palliative care setting.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of principles and practice of palliative care.
  • Appropriate level of clinical knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and intelligibly in written and spoken English.

Working Arrangements

This is a part-time post, available immediately until further notice.
