Job Description

This role is responsible for leading and managing the people services function at AWE Plc, a dynamic organization located between Reading and Basingstoke.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives to support the company's objectives and goals. This includes providing expert advice on employment law, employee relations, training and development, and reward management.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £80,000-£110,000, depending on experience and performance. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a flexible benefits package that allows employees to tailor their rewards to suit their individual needs.

A 9-day working fortnight pattern is in place, allowing employees to balance work and personal life. We are committed to considering flexible working requests, ensuring that our employees can thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.

We require a degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field, such as human resources, business administration, or a related subject. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, and experience with HR software would be beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
