About the Role

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) Police is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Nuclear Site Protection Officer. This critical role involves providing armed response, patrolling nuclear sites, facilities, and materials, and working closely with local communities to ensure their safety and security.

As a Nuclear Site Protection Officer, you will be part of a highly trained team that provides 24/7 protection to the nation's nuclear sites. You will work from Operational Units to provide armed response, patrolling and protecting nuclear sites, facilities, and materials, as well as patrolling in local communities and working with local Home Office Police Forces.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A starting salary of £29,907, increasing to £31,164 after 2 years, and reaching £48,231 within 7 years, is offered for this position. Required skills and qualifications include being 18 years old and having a full manual driving licence. Additionally, you must display the highest standards, values, and professional qualities at all times, adhering to the service's Code of Ethics and principles of behaviour.
