About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Equity Compensation Specialist to join our Total Reward team at TravelPerk. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our compensation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative equity programs that align with our strategic goals, market trends, and locations in the US, Spain, UK, and Germany.
  • Analyze and strategize to ensure our equity offerings are competitive and compelling, utilizing data-driven insights to refine and optimize our equity program.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees and leadership on equity plan details, benefits, and best practices, communicating the value of equity awards effectively to foster understanding and appreciation among employees.
  • Collaborate with our HR Business Partners and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and compliance of equity programs, bringing fresh ideas to enhance our equity offerings continuously.
  • Oversee the administration of equity awards, including grants, vesting, and exercises, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and reporting, and managing the equity database to maintain precise records.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation, managing equity plans across Europe and the US, preferably within the tech industry.
  • Deep understanding of equity, stock options, RSUs, ESPPs, market practices, global equity compensation regulations, and compliance requirements, including reporting of grants to HMRC.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex equity concepts and plans to employees at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm for creating a rewarding employee experience and a proactive approach to challenges.
