About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our Partner Services Group (PSG) at Boston Consulting Group. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the global framework for MDP incentives, compensation, and equity.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building and analyzing financial models to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement using large data sets and statistical and mathematical methodologies.
  • Generating and tracking MDP financial estimates on an accrued and cash basis, taking into account different geographies, currencies, and local program specifics.
  • Understanding and managing MDP lifecycle events (Office Transfers, External Hires, and Departures), applying compensation and equity implications to financial models, accurately updating tracking and documentation, and communicating effectively across the appropriate networks.
  • Executing and reviewing Excel models and visualizations to provide insights into the compensation and equity model, supporting senior stakeholder decision-making.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, addressing the impacts of compensation and equity transactions across different geographies.
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of MDP scenario projections, adhering to country-specific program parameters.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Managing projects effectively, ensuring value-added documentation and analyses across various platforms are updated, maintained accurately, and delivered on time.

Additional Opportunities

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with various teams to improve data and security management, leveraging workflow tools such as Alteryx and Microsoft Automate.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance PSG-internal and MDP-facing processes and products.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics using tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Automate operational processes and enhance reporting through best practices in visualization and data storytelling.

About You

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, comfortable managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Rigorous attention to accuracy and detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Analytical curiosity and the ability to interpret data and patterns thoughtfully.
  • Confident in asking probing questions and making recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Ability to build trusted working relationships and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and creativity to solve problems.
  • Flexibility and openness to new ideas and iterative change processes.

About the Team

You will be part of the PSG Analytics & MDP Support team and will work closely with the Compensation & Equity team and other PSG sub-functions. You will work with Roberto Sestito, Stef Steege, Laura McDonnell, and the broader PSG team. Depending on specific workstream, you will work closely with a subset of the team on a day-to-day basis and with exposure to Amy Glass and Ben Holden, as the MDP Co-Leads of PSG function. You will also team with Agile systems teams and the product owner of Business Insights & Analytics.
