Inside Sales Business Development Specialist

As an ambitious Managed Security Service Provider, we're expanding our operations globally while maintaining a strong presence in Scotland. We're seeking Inside Sales Business Development Specialists to join our dynamic UK sales team.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your career, develop your telephone sales skills, and become an expert in the Cyber Security portfolio. You'll work closely with our Sales Consultants to identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and drive revenue growth across multiple verticals in the UK.

Responsibilities include building relationships with prospects, driving interest throughout the sales cycle, and partnering with Sales Consultants to secure customer conversations and appointments. You'll also be responsible for updating CRM, providing weekly updates/reports, and undertaking ongoing education and enablement training.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Cybersecurity and/or Information Technology telephone-based selling.
  • Ability to demonstrate good listening skills to qualify opportunities.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and best practices.
  • A hunter by nature, with expertise in prospecting via a multi-channel approach.
  • Ability to articulate our value proposition effectively to prospects.
  • Prioritise prospects and generate new opportunities through research, prospecting, and networking.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Salary: Competitive basic salary (£30,000 - £40,000 per annum) and commission structure.
