This role provides essential administrative support to the Operations Director, enabling efficient daily operations and streamlined project timelines. As an Office Manager candidate, you will play a central role in supporting office operations, managing communications, and ensuring the productivity of the office team.
- Offer high-level administrative support to the Operations Director, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and organizing travel.
- Manage communications on behalf of the Director, handling emails, phone calls, and correspondence.
- Coordinate project timelines, liaising with site managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Support client and contractor interactions, including managing contracts, agreements, and documentation.
- Organize and maintain both digital and paper-based filing systems.
- Ensure health and safety documents are prepared as required for project needs.
- Manage up to two administrative staff members as the role progresses to Office Manager.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role, ideally within the construction or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in liaising with staff, contractors, and clients.
- Familiarity with project management processes and tools relevant to the construction sector is a plus.
