Purchase Ledger Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our team at Alliance Automotive Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Invoice Processing: Post a high volume of invoices to the ledger, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supplier Validation: Validate purchase invoices by verifying evidence of delivery or provision of services.
- Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements in electronic or Excel format.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve mis-postings, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- BACS Payments: Prepare and process three monthly BACS payments.
- System Development: Collaborate with the finance team to continuously develop and improve our Kerridge K8 system.
- Employee Credit Cards: Manage employee credit cards, including receipt reconciliations, posting costs to the nominal ledger, and general administration of the card scheme.
- Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced purchase ledger environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Excel to an intermediate level and experience with Kerridge K8 & MAM (beneficial but not essential).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the self-discipline to work to a precise level of accuracy.
