About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our team at Alliance Automotive Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and post a high volume of invoices to the ledger, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Validate purchase invoices and reconcile supplier statements in electronic and Excel formats
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mis-postings, investigating and understanding the root cause
  • Prepare and manage three monthly BACS payments
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our financial systems and processes
  • Manage employee credit cards, including receipts reconciliation and posting costs to the nominal ledger

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced purchase ledger environment
  • Proficiency in using Excel to an intermediate level
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
