As an Electrical Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Buyer within the electrical category. This position offers a competitive salary of £28,000 along with an attractive benefits package including 37 days of holiday (including bank holidays), Bupa healthcare, and exclusive discounts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Buyer in managing the electrical product range, with the potential to develop your own purchasing portfolio.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring adherence to critical timelines and commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with the digital team to create comprehensive briefs, overseeing the setup and management of product availability for launch dates.
- Work closely with the Web Content Team and E-Commerce department to ensure that product descriptions and images accurately represent the offerings, providing constructive feedback for enhancements.
- Establish and manage all purchasing administration systems and processes to guarantee timely product availability and delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a purchasing team.
- Strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation.
- A flexible and positive approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications.
