About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our team at Alliance Automotive Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and post a high volume of invoices to the ledger, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Validate purchase invoices, reconciling discrepancies and resolving issues with suppliers
  • Reconcile supplier statements in electronic and Excel formats
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mis-postings, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations
  • Prepare and manage BACS payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, leveraging expertise in Kerridge K8 and MAM
  • Manage employee credit cards, including receipt reconciliation and nominal ledger postings

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced purchase ledger environment, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in Excel, with intermediate-level skills and experience with Kerridge K8 and MAM an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on varied tasks and responsibilities
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with a passion for delivering high-quality results and contributing to team success
