About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our team in Gillingham, Kent. As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our fee earners, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, including audio and copy typing, answering phones, and updating client details.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date files, including correspondence and client information.
  • Arrange appointments and deal with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Access and input data onto our client case management system.
  • Work collaboratively with other secretarial colleagues to provide cover and support as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent technical skills, including fast and accurate typing speed, and a good working knowledge of Word.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and a confident, friendly, and outgoing manner.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks.
