We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join our team at Legado Recruitment. As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our fee earners with secretarial and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our fee earners, including photocopying, updating client details, and filing correspondence.
  • Communication: Answer the telephone in a polite and efficient manner, and communicate with clients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Data Management: Access and input data onto our client case management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Teamwork: Work as part of a team with other secretarial colleagues, assisting with secretarial and telephone cover when required.
  • Confidentiality: Handle all confidential information discreetly and maintain the highest level of professionalism.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience working as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, with excellent technical skills and a fast and accurate typing speed.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and a confident, friendly, and outgoing manner both over the phone and in person.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Technical Skills: A good working knowledge of Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
