About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Pastoral Department and contribute to the development of our students. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with teachers and other support staff to identify and address the needs of students
  • To develop and implement strategies to improve student attendance and behaviour
  • To provide guidance and support to students, parents, and carers on academic progress and wellbeing
  • To analyse data and present insights to inform next steps and actions
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the pastoral department

Requirements:

  • A minimum of GCSE or equivalent Level 2 in English and mathematics
  • An extensive knowledge and experience of working with young people
  • An understanding and experience of liaising with external agencies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills

Salary:

£29,093 to £31,586 gross per annum (pro rata)
