Job Title: Specialist SEMH Support Worker

About the Position:

CV-Library is seeking a dedicated Emotional Wellbeing Assistant to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will work closely with students who experience emotional difficulties, providing tailored support to help them engage with the curriculum and develop coping mechanisms for managing emotional challenges.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as an SEMH Teaching Assistant or similar role, particularly working with students with SEMH.
  • Strong empathy and patience, along with a passion for helping students overcome social and emotional barriers.
  • Experience with behaviour management techniques is desirable, though Team Teach training will be provided if necessary.
