Recovery and Wellbeing Assistant

Allied and Clinical Healthcare in Sheffield seeks a dedicated recovery and wellbeing assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with mental health challenges.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment that fosters recovery and well-being. As a recovery and wellbeing assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct support and assistance to clients in a residential or community setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients in developing coping skills, managing symptoms, and achieving their recovery goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor client progress and behaviour, documenting observations and reporting concerns to relevant personnel.
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy to enhance clients' quality of life and independence.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in mental health, autism or learning disabilities support roles is required.
  • Advanced MAPA/PMVA or CPI certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and professionals
