About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Tutor (Building Technologies) to join our team. As a member of the pastoral team, you will deliver tutorial lessons increasing the breadth of SHAPE programme. You will work alongside curriculum staff to enhance positive experiences, wellbeing, and academic achievement at college.

Key Responsibilities
  • SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF ACADEMY'S INTERVIEW, ENROLMENT, AND INDUCTION PROCESSES.
  • IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR ALL ACADEMY STUDENTS THROUGH FORMAL 1:1S AND OTHER PASTORAL INTERVENTIONS.
  • WORK AND LIAISE WITH CURRICULUM STAFF, CROSS COLLEGE DEPARTMENTS AND EXTERNAL AGENCIES TO IMPROVE STUDENT ATTENDANCE, PROGRESS, AND ACHIEVEMENT.
  • DELIVER A RANGE OF ENGAGING TUTORIALS THROUGH THE SHAPE PROGRAMME.
  • IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE DESTINATIONS OF STUDENTS, INCLUDING THROUGH INTERNAL PROGRESSION AND UCAS APPLICATIONS.
