We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated support specialist to work closely with students who have autism in Sheffield.

The Role

As an autism support professional, you will provide individualised assistance to help students engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. This includes fostering social and emotional development, implementing behaviour management strategies, and adapting learning environments to meet sensory needs.

You will require previous experience as a teaching assistant, preferably working with students with autism or in a similar specialist role. A deep understanding of autism and effective strategies to support students is essential. Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning are key qualities for this role.
