The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Autism Education Specialist to work directly with students who have Autism and other SEMH needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing personalised learning strategies to help students access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Regularly assessing student progress and providing insightful feedback to parents and colleagues to support their academic growth.
  • Fostering a nurturing and secure environment, offering emotional guidance and encouragement to help students manage their anxieties and social challenges.
  • Ensuring effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in each student's educational journey.
  • Advocating for inclusivity within the school community, ensuring that students with Autism and SEMH needs feel a sense of belonging and support.

Requirements:
• Relevant experience as an Autism Education Specialist or in a similar role is preferred.
