Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Rotherham, S63 area. The successful candidate will work in an Integrated Resource unit, supporting students with Autism (ASD) and other special educational needs.

About the Role:

  1. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs, ideally Autism (ASD) or Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
  2. Experience working in a school setting is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting students with Autism (ASD) and other special educational needs in a classroom environment.
  2. Assisting teachers with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment.
  3. Providing individualized support to students with specific learning needs.
