We are seeking a dedicated specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel, working with children aged 6-11 with Autism and associated needs.

This role involves delivering primary education in a small class setting of up to 8 students, utilizing a supportive teaching staff approach.

Consistency is key, therefore we require full-time teachers; however, part-time positions may be considered for exceptional educators.

The successful candidate will start as soon as possible or from January 2025. Relevant qualifications and training are essential for this role.

This is a temporary position, with the potential to convert to a permanent role in the future.

To ensure child safety, safeguarding checks will be conducted in accordance with DfE guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. Free child protection training is provided for registered candidates.

A valid enhanced DBS check is required for all applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary education to children with Autism and associated needs
  • Work with small classes of up to 8 students and supporting teaching staff
  • Maintain consistency in teaching approach
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or related field
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
  • SEN experience preferred
  • Valid enhanced DBS check
